M2-Automation and InnovoTechX at MicroTAS 2025
This November we’ll join MicroTAS 2025 in Adelaide together with our partner InnovoTechX. Mario Nitzsche will take the stage in the Tech Talk session – showing why pipettes fail at tiny volumes and how picoliter & nanoliter dispensing changes the game.
From 2 – 6 November 2025, the international microfluidics community will gather in Adelaide, Australia. Together with our Australian partner InnovoTechX, M2-Automation will join the the MicroTAS 2025.
Mario Nitzsche, COO of M2-Automation, will present the Tech Talk: “Microdispensing redefined: precision and reproducibility at the picoliter and nanoliter scale – a multimedia journey beyond pipetting.”
The talk highlights why conventional pipetting fails at these volumes: surface tension dominates gravity, evaporation becomes critical, and even the smallest handling errors cause large deviations. Digital microdispensing overcomes these barriers by digitally defining droplet volumes, ensuring constant precision from 10 pL to several µL.
Through real-time videos and application examples, the session will show how miniaturization and multiplexing enable researchers to obtain more data from less sample, while improving reproducibility, efficiency, and sustainability.
